Travelin' Man
Joe Weber, Sales Director

Joe WeberI wanted to start by extending a big thank you to all the dealers that I had the opportunity to visit during my UL325 update meetings. Rest assured, if I have not contacted you yet, it will not be long before I do. I am very optimistic about the feedback I have received thus far from the dealers I have seen. The overwhelming sentiment is that the UL325 standard is not that difficult to adhere to once armed with the knowledge to do so. My plan is to continue to schedule meetings until I have met with all our dealers and provided them with the information they need.

In addition to my dealer visits, trade shows provide a perfect opportunity to visit face to face with our new and old customers. And as you may already know, it is the trade show time of year. I just attended the American Fence Association show in Tampa, and I was particularly interested in how the different manufacturers were conforming to the new UL325 requirements. Most manufacturers are scheduled to release their new gate operators by the end of February, and the changes look promising.
